Educating and empowering girls to pursue careers in STEM fields

PhillyGEMS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls and educating them on STEM fields - science, technology, engineering and math - with the hopes of encouraging them to pursue careers in these areas. Women continue to be underrepresented in STEM fields. By bringing speakers - women who are in STEM careers - girls are enlightened and inspired in a relaxed and fun environment. Hands-on experiences and Q&A time make the experience unforgettable.
